Vacansoleil-DCM‘s Lieuwe Westra, riding Bianchi Oltre and Pico Crono Carbon bikes, took the overall win at Post Danmark Rundt – Tour of Denmark 2012, on Sunday, August 26th. After the success on the fifth stage, a 14.5-km ITT, the Dutch rider kept his leadership on the finish of the final stage, 165 km fromSlagelse to Frederiksberg.
In 2012 Westra clinched success at Paris-Nice’s stage-5 and ITT Dutch Championships. Dutchman also achieved several top-5 placements, at Romandie, De Panne, Tour of Belgium and Paris-Nice’s final stage.
