A new event in Verona will open the circuit on March fourth, followed by Milano, Montichiari, Nalles and Courmayeur. New managing company and communication team to keep on rising.
The adventure of Internazionali d’Italia Series continues in style. Five months after the Italian National XC Championships in Courmayeur, closing act of the first year of the new era for the circuit that includes the main MTB Cross Country event in Italy, the project moves forward, supported by the full appreciation of the public, teams and sponsors, and announces the 2017 stages of the main Italian MTB challenge.
FIVE STAGES, FROM VERONA TO COURMAYEUR
Five races will determine who will follow to Stephane Tempier and Chiara Teocchi in the golden book, after exactly three months of challenges:

April 2nd 2017: Montichiari (BS) – Trofeo Delcar International (HC)

The landing in Verona is the biggest news of the new calendar: a new event to open the schedule of Internazionali d’Italia Series, following the philosophy tested – with huge success – in Milan. Bringing people to the MTB and the MTB to people is one of the main goals of the Internazionali’s new project, and the presence of the biggest names in offroad cycling in the big city events is a key piece of that strategy.
Such choice was rewarded aplenty when the MTB made its return to Milan – La Montagnetta in the latest edition of the Internazionali d’Italia, with a huge attendance and a top-class podium featuring Nino Schurter, Marco Aurelio Fontana and Stephane Tempier. Also this year, the circuit’s organizers are working to involve and bring to Italy the biggest riders and teams around, to live up to the big expectations surrounding the “year 2” of Internazionali d’Italia Series.
From 2000, Internazionali d’Italia is the leading MTB Cross Country circuit in Italy, and one of the biggest in Europe along with BMC Cup and Bundesliga. The Internazionali d’Italia are organized under the aegis of the Italian Cycling Federation and the Union Cycliste Internationale.
CHANGE TO KEEP ON RISING
The list of the news does not end here: Internazionali d’Italia are making some changes in the administrative and communication branches to keep on strengthening and establishing the circuit.
For the first time, the Internazionali d’Italia Series’ management will be handled by a dedicated company, CM Outdoor International Events. A change in continuity, to give all the stakeholders a more reliable and independent partner, and with the ambition of making another leap in terms of organizational quality.
In addition, the communication and press office activity for Internazionali d’Italia Series will be handled by Vitesse, an established communication company with 25 years of experience, specialized in sports and cycling in particular. The mission of Vitesse will be reinforcing the circuit visibility on the national and international scale, strengthening the events’ penetration on every media platform.
The early steps of the new Internazionali d’Italia Series season are collecting the interest of several important realities: the first important names will be unveiled in the next weeks. The first presentation of the 2017 Internazionali d’Italia will happen in Milan on Wednesday January 18th, when the Italian Cycling Federation will present the 2017 offroad calendar.
