Androni Giocattoli-Sidermec’s Italian rider attacks 1,5 Km from the finish, claiming victory in Tour of the Alps’ stage 3
Fausto Masnada gave Androni-Giocattoli Sidermec an amazing win in Tour of the Alps’ stage 3 (Salorno/Salurn-Baselga di Piné, 106,3 Km). The Italian rider attacked outdistanced the leading group with 1,5 Km to go, preceding on the finish line the stage 1 winner Tao Geoghegan Hart (Team Sky), Rafal Majka (Bora-Hansgrohe) and Vincenzo Nibali (Bahrain-Merida). Russian Pavel Sivakov (Team Sky) maintained the overall lead with 8 seconds of advantage on Jan Hirt and 23 on Mattia Cattaneo.
