ROGLIC DOMINATES ROMANDIE IN FINAL GIRO DRESS REHEARSAL

The Team Jumbo Visma Slovenian won his third stage in the race in Geneve’s final ITT, topping a third World Tour stage race in 2019 after UAE Tour and Tirreno-Adriatico

Primoz Roglic (Team Jumbo-Visma) secured the Tour de Romandie overall win by topping the final ITT, 16,8 km with start and finish in Geneve (Switzerland) on Sunday, May 5th. Equipped with Aquila CV, the Slovenian clocked a 19’58” time, 13 seconds faster than Victor Campenaerts and 15 than Filippo Ganna. Roglic completed the Tour de Romandie in 15:21:11, with a 49-second advantage on Rui Costa and 1:12 on Geraint Thomas.

The Slovenian topped his third World Tour stage race in 2019 after UAE Tour and Tirreno-Adriatico.

Roglic will tackle Giro d’Italia counting on a strong shape and the solid feeling with Bianchi’s top-of-the-range models. “For me innovation is the opportunity use the best possible technology and material.
