The third stage will be a very important one. The 203.5 km will make up a perfect climbers’ day that starts from Wadowice, Pope John Paul II’s birthplace now housing a museum on his history. The testing stage finish is located in Bielsko/Biala, a well-known tourist resort surrounded by vast forests and wonderful lakes.

Wadowice
This town is better known to be the Holy Father John Paul II birthplace. The greatest attraction here is, undoubtedly, his family home museum with a large multimedia exposition represent different stages of his life. The Wojtyla family’s original apartment, with numerous personal belongings, is the heart of the Museum. Karol Wojtyla’s Foot Trail leads through thirteen places connected with his childhood and adolescence.
Here, the tourist can taste the favourite Pope’s dessert: the papal cream cake, a dessert made from French puff pastry and vanilla cream filling.
Galeria Bielska BWA
Galeria Bielska BWA is a municipal gallery in Bielsko-Biala, which promotes the most interesting contemporary art expressions – from painting to photography, performance, installation art, and the new media.
It has an art collection including now 963 paintings, prints, drawings and fabrics. The Gallery systematically showcases works of local artists – recently in the form of the “Visual Art Festival”, cooperates with artists, art galleries and universities in other countries and organises art residencies programmes.
