The 2010 Tour de France route was unveiled in Paris this week. The race starts in Rotterdam, The Netherlands on July 3 with a prologue. Then the race will head over some cobblestones into Brussels, Belgium before crossing back into France. The race will make its way through the north of France into the Alps with a rest day in Morzine. Two more mountain stages through Saint Jean de Maurienne and then Chambery to Gap before heading into the Massif Central and then the Pyrenees. There will be 4 high mountain stages in the Pyrenees, including the Tourmalet twice. A long 51k time trial around Bordeaux before the final parade into Paris on the Champs Elysee.
