According to an article in yesterday’s Denver Post, Quiznos is still planning on sponsoring the race in August despite recent layoffs at the company. Host cities are working with Medalist Sports to iron out details, insurance and legal issues.
The race will go over Cottonwood Pass which has a short section that’s unpaved.
It’s not yet been announced who will be doing the television coverage. That’s expected in a couple of weeks. Additional details on the route will also be announced.
