Colorado Alternate Bike Route Legislation

Bill 1092 has passed the Colorado House of Representatives.  It deals with communities who want to ban bicycling on their streets.  They would have to provide a nearby alternate route.  The gambling town of Black Hawk banned bike riding on its streets last year.  This bill is to address the problem and head off any other cities from doing the same.  Communities would have to do a study before they can institute any bans.
