Contador Should be Re-Tested

According to an Article in Sport 24, Professor Gerard Dine thinks Contador’s blood sample should be re-tested.  Dine was one of the founders of what is now known as the biological passport.  He thinks that if the plasticizer can be validated, the process could be retroactive.  If that is the case it might not be the clenbuterol but an auto transfusion.

Dine is a hematologist and Managing Director of the Institut Biotechnologique at Troyes.  He suggestred that Contador could have used “Clenbuterol in a period when he was not tested, in order to do power training” and then that people “extracted his blood in order to transfuse him later.”
