Johnny Hoogerland Won’t Forgive

Johnny Hoogerland hoped to wear the polka dot jersey on the podium in Paris.  He was in a break when he was hit by a passing France Television car who obviously didn’t know how to drive the course.  Hoogerland said he’s sure the driver didn’t intend to hit him, but he still won’t forgive him.  He’ll start tomorrow but isn’t sure what he’ll be able to do. He has 33 stitches from the crash and from falling into barbed wire.  He says it’s easier to ride than to climb stairs.
