Alberto Contador knocked 20 seconds off his 4 minute deficit today on a category 2 climb en route to Gap. Tomorrow will be a category 1 climb which should allow him more opportunity to make up time followed by two days of hors category climbs Thursday and Friday. Contador attacked with Sanchez, Voeckler and Evans and managed to stay away from the Schlecks.
The race is finally getting exciting!
