Kolobnev let go by Katusha

Alexander Kolobnev has been let go by his Russian Katusha team after a positive doping control.  During last summer’s Tour de France diuretics were found. He’s had to pay a fine of $1560.  Since his contract was up for renewal, the team decided not to renew.

Denis Menchov was recruited to be team leader for next season.
