BMC to Ride New Granfondo GF01 at Paris-Roubaix 2012

The BMC Racing Team will tackle the cobblestones of Paris-Roubaix on the new BMC granfondo GF01, which was unveiled Thursday, prior to the team’s pre-race press conference.

Built For The Classics
All eight riders on the BMC Racing Team – including past podium placers Alessandro Ballan, George Hincapie and Thor Hushovd – will start Sunday’s 257.5-kilometer race on the BMC granfondo GF01. It is the first bike in BMC’s new Endurance Series. “Loaded with special features, the BMC granfondo GF01 was built to maximize the BMC Racing Team’s chances to go for victory in Paris-Roubaix,” said Thomas Binggeli, chief executive officer of BMC Switzerland. Though it was especially created for the classics, the bike is also a perfect match for riders enjoying the recreational side of cycling, Binggeli said.
