The women’s time trial was won by Kristen Armstrong. She covered the 29.400 km in 39:59:28.
Dave Zabriske powered through to win the men’s time trial. He finished in 35:59 followed by Jens Voight of Germany.
The dry scratchy landscape was complimented today with 105 degree heat. At least the riders had to be out only about 35 minutes, unlike all the support staff!
