Paez tapped for London 2012: three TX Active-Bianchi’s riders will enter Olympics
TX Active-Bianchi’s Leonardo Paez will be in the action as Colombia’s single rider in the MTB male race at London Olympics on August 12th, at 1.30 pm.
Paez joins Stephane Tempier, tapped by French national MTB team manager Yvon Vauchez, and Gerhard Kerschbaumer, chosen by Italy’s ds Hubert Pallhuber.
“Our goal is to qualify three riders for London Olympics” said president Felice Gimondi, on the occasion of team TX Active-Bianchi’s presentation in Bergamo on March 1st. Now the goal has been reached. Team manager Massimo Ghirotto displays his satisfaction: “It’s a special joy, one of the biggest of my career, to line-up three riders of ours at Olympics, representing their respective Countries”.
TX Active-Bianchi’s diamond points will ride in Hadleigh’s course on Bianchi Methanol SL2 (26”) and Bianchi 29 SL (29”), already victorious in national and international MTB races.
