Living the Ride: From 7Eleven to BMC Racing Team

CyclingSoul is proud to announce that Bob Roll will be the guest emcee for the Living the Ride event August 26th, 2012 at the Grand Hyatt Denver.

Bob was an integral part of the 7-‐Eleven Team and is now a well known announcer with NBC Sports for cycling.

We would also like to welcome Acura as a partner for the event. Acura is the official North American vehicle sponsor of the BMC Racing Team.

In addition, we are excited to announce the BMC Racing Team members that will be attending Living the Ride!

Those attendees include: Cadel Evans, George Hincapie, Taylor Phinney, Tejay van Garderen, Mathias Frank, Ivan Santamorita, and Michael Schaer.

Living the Ride will immediately follow George Hincapie’s final professional race, so it is sure to be a special evening!

Living the Ride is a VIP ticketed evening with Jim Ochowicz (manager of BMC Racing and former 7-Eleven team), members of the 7-‐Eleven Pro Cycling Team and the BMC Racing Team.

In addition to great stories from Ochowicz and the members from 7‐Eleven and BMC Racing Team, the night will include a dinner prepared by Top Chef winner Hosea Rosenberg, 7‐Eleven book signing, a silent auction benefiting the Davis Phinney Foundation, cycling fashion show, and a cocktail hour.

This will be a once-‐in‐a‐lifetime event, bringing together past and present icons of pro cycling.  Jim Ochowicz orchestrated the first US-based Pro Cycling Team to race in Europe, and today commands one of the top teams in the Pro Peloton.
