Yohann Bruyneel won’t be able to participate in the cycling world again until 2022. This suspension came from the American Arbitration Association in conjunction with the USADA. They say he was involved in all the important doping details on the US Postal and Discovery teams. They also sanctioned Dr. Pedro Ceyala and trainer Pepi Martin until 2020. They had already sanctioned Lance Armstrong in 2012.
Bruyneel has blamed the system and has disputed the authority of the American organizations. He could appeal to CAS (Court of Arbitration in Sport) but if he loses it could be expensive. He’s considering his options .
