Peio Bilbao (Bahrain Victorious) won the last stage of the Deutschland Tour in Stuttgart. In the sprint of a ten-man group, the Spaniard won ahead of Ruben Almeida Guerreiro (EF Education – EasyPost) and Georg Zimmermann (Intermarché – Wanty – Gobert Matériaux). Adam Yates (Ineos Grenadiers), who crossed the finish line in fifth place, thus defended the red jersey of the overall leader.
Without collecting further points for the mountain classification, Jakob Geßner (Team Lotto – Kern Haus) was able to defend his blue jersey. Zimmermann still took over the white jersey of the best young rider due to the bonus seconds at the finish. With the stage win, Bilbao also took over the green jersey of the best rider in point
