Team Sky is focusing on its anti-doping policy. All riders will be asked to sign a declaration that they have never ever doped currently or in the past. Those who don’t sign will be asked to leave the team. If they do sign it and it’s later found that they have doped, they’ll be terminated.
Dr. Leinders has been a Sky team doctor but was involved with doping when he was with Rabobank. Sky is not renewing his contract.
Although the team has had an anti-doping policy, there have been riders onboard who have doping in their pasts. Levi Leipheimer and Michael Rogers both worked with Dr. Ferrari in the past but Levi claims not to have worked with him on any doping.
