Konrad, a Tour de France stage winner and two-time national champion, brings a versatile skill-set and determination to the Team, and is excited to play a crucial role in achieving future victories for Lidl-Trek. Konrad also counts two top-10 finishes at the Giro d’Italia, underscoring his ability as a GC rider. The American team is eager to harness Konrad’s potential as it sets its sights on greater triumphs in the coming years.
“New beginnings always bring new motivation, so I am really looking forward to this new chapter,” shared Patrick Konrad. “I think I am quite good on different terrains, so we will find out about my exact role as soon as we start to plan the next season. I want to help achieve the Team’s goals for the season whilst in terms of personal goals, I would love to take another Grand Tour stage win.”
