“I won twice three weeks ago in the Coupe de France, and now, I’m entering a WorldTour race where the level is completely different and still manage to win, it’s great. I tried to attack once at 1500 meters, but the peloton didn’t let me go, they immediately chased me down. So I decided to sit up in preparation for the sprint. Then, the teamwork was incredible, Bruno (Armirail) came to fetch me to position me at 700 meters and he did the work until 200. When I saw it starting to come back together, I launched my sprint and it worked out! It’s so good!”
