Team Lotto.NL-Jumbo’s rider on Oltre XR.2 was second in San Giorgio del Sannio
Team Lotto.NL-Jumbo goes on rocking at 2015 Giro d’Italia. After the good performance in the stage-8, Dutch Steven Kruijswijk clinched a solid second spot in the stage 9, 224 kilometers from Benevento to San Giorgio del Sannio on Sunday, May 17th. The 28-year-old rider from Neunen rode his Oltre XR.2 in the leading group since the km 52, when the decisive 11-man escape took stage.
Kruijswijk got to the finish line 21 seconds behind Italian Paolo Tiralongo, preceding German Simon Geschke and French Amael Moinard. Thanks to the second position in San Giorgio del Sannio, the Dutchman went up to 23rd in the GC.
