Hofland Runner Up, Teunissen Fourth in Tour of Oman Stage 3

Moreno Hofland was runner-up in Tour of Oman’s stage 3, 176,5 km from Al Sawadi Beach to Naseem Park on Thursday, February 18th. Team LottoNL-Jumbo’s 24-year-old Dutchman was outsprinted only by Norwegian Alexander Kristoff, whilst Belgian Roy Jans rounded out the podium. Fellow Team LottoNL-Jumbo rider Mike Teunissen, 23, was only one spot shy of the podium, placing fourth.

VOLTA AO ALGARVE EM BICICLETA
On the same day, the Dutch team notched another podium position in Portugal, where Slovenian Primoz Roglic was third in Volta ao Algarve em Bicicletta’s stage-2, 198,6 km from Lagoa to Alto de Fóia top. Roglic got the line with a small gap from winner Luis Leon Sanchez (+3) and runner-up Geraint Thomas (+2).

VUELTA A ANDALUCIA RUTA CICLISTA DEL SOL
Finally, Enrico Battaglin finished 9th at Vuelta a Andalucia Ruta Ciclista Del Sol’s stage-2, 186,2 km from Palomares del Río to Córdoba.

OLTRE XR.2
Hofland re-affirmed his feeling with Oltre XR.2, whilst Team LottoNL-Jumbo’s newcomer Roglic grabbed his first podium on the new Bianchi bike. Oltre XR.2 is an extreme racing bike, perfectly combining lightness, aerodynamic and stiffness. Bianchi also supplies Team LottoNL-Jumbo with three more models: Specialissima, Infinito CV and TT Aquila CV.
