New Bianchi Café & Cycles opened in Tokyo

A new Bianchi Café & Cycles has been opened in Jiyugaoka, the fashion shopping area of Tokyo, Japan. Founder and CEO of the Grimaldi Industri and Bianchi chairman Salvatore Grimaldi attended the reception party on December 4th and welcomed Swedish Ambassador, Mr. Lars Vargo and his wife.

The new store is a combination of a bicycle shop and an Italian café on two levels. Based on “a place for Italian dining and bikes” concept, the store is the world’s second “Bianchi Café & Cycles”, following the very first opened in 2010 in Stockholm, Sweden.

It’s the fifth Bianchi meeting point in Tokyo, after the Bianchi Concept Store (launched in 2009), Bianchi Omotesando Hills (2010), Bianchi Community Aoyama (2011) and Bianchi Maronouchi (2012).

The interior design is simple and modern, with black and white colors gracefully combined with celeste inserts. The Bianchi complete bike range, including the new Oltre XR high-end road model, is eye-catchingly displayed at the entrance and around the shop and cafe.

The cafe is located on the upper floor where people can have a real espresso and typical Italian dishes like pasta, panini and sit in a spacious and elegant room. “Celeste Smoothie with Avocado” was invented as a signature drink of Bianchi Cafe & Cycles.
