Europeans React to Armstrong Interview

There have been varying coments in Europe in reaction to the Lance Armstrong-Oprah Winfrey interview.

Jacques Rogge, president of the International Olympic Committee has said that it’s a sad story. But he said one needs to look at it as an opportunity, a turning point for a new spirit in cycling. He hopes the fight against doping will intensify and that the sport will renew. He hopes that Lance will be part of the fight.
