The president of WADA, John Fahey, said the lifetime ban imposed on Lance Armstrong might be reduced if he fully cooperates with USADA. He wasn’t optimistic about the chances of Armstrong fully cooperating. He said he’d love it to happen but would be surprised if it did.

Fahey said Armstrong has to give evidence under oath, not on television. Then his ban could be reduced to a minimum of 8 years.
