World Tour Women at GP de Plouay on Saturday

GP DE PLOUAY (WWT)

The women’s WorldTour peloton are back in action this Saturday for GP de Plouay. Riders face a bumpy course which totals 121 kilometres with four times around 26.9 kilometre circuit followed by one around a finishing circuit of 13.9 kilometres.

Team Sunweb coach Hans Timmermans (NED) said: “Plouay is normally a predictable race until the final 30 kilometres when anything can happen. The team are ready for the different situations that could play out. We have Leah in great shape at the moment and last season she was close to the victory here after a strong attack in the final. We also have Coryn on our line-up as well as a strong support team in Liane, Rozanne, Sabrina and Juliette, who recently took her first WorldTour GC top 10 in Norway.”
