With stage number 17, in fact, the peloton will go back to climb again. From Villadiego to Los Muchacos of 180 km with a first-category climb and another one classified “Especial”.
The Puerto de Alisas is 10 km long with a maximum slope of 7.5%, while the last climb to the finish line is just over 7 km but with an average slope of 8.7% and a maximum of 26%! Tomorrow going to Los Muchacos the only tactic will be to have very good legs!
