L’Eroica Landscape
It’s history matching history, passion joining passion. Again in 2017, Bianchi will be at L’Eroica in Gaiole in Chianti (Siena, Italy), the most famous historical cycling race. From Friday September 29th to Sunday October 1st, Bianchi – global partner of the event – will star with a pop-up store and an expo area in the three-day vintage festival.
BIANCHI L’EROICA BICYCLE: TIMELESS BEAUTY
The Bianchi booth will feature an expo area where visitors will meet Bianchi L’Eroica, the special bike officially certified by the L’Eroica commission to ride in all the events of the legendary “ciclostorica”. Designed and made 100% in Italy following the criteria of classic steel bikes of the Fifties and Sixties, Bianchi L’Eroica is the perfect bike for all the vintage style and cycling aficionados.
Not only vintage, from Friday to Sunday Bianchi will showcase a selection of its top-notch high-performance road models, engineered with the innovative Countervail® Vibration Cancelling Technology: Oltre XR4, the aero road racing machine two-stage winner at 2017 Tour de France, the ultralight Specialissima and the endurance model Infinito CV.

At the Bianchi booth visitors will also meet the new “Bianchi for Scuderia Ferrari” SF01, the high-performance road bike, recently unveiled at Eurobike 2017, that celebrates the start of the collaboration between the two noteworthy Italian brands – Bianchi and Ferrari.
THE NEW BIANCHI L’EROICA CLOTHING COLLECTION: RETRO STYLE
At the pop-up store in Gaiole in Chianti, many vintage cycling enthusiasts will seize the opportunity to discover and get the new clothing collection Bianchi L’Eroica: men’s and women’s sweatshirt, polo shirt and t-shirt, leisure wear created by the designers of the Treviglio’s company combining retro style and the iconic Bianchi charm. Also Bianchi branded accessories and gadgets will be available.
ABOUT L’EROICA
L’Eroica is the popular non-competitive cycling event for cyclists dressed in vintage or vintage-inspired cycling gear, and riding vintage (built up to and including 1987) or historically inspired (newly constructed with vintage look and characteristics) bikes.
The 21st edition will take place in Gaiole in Chianti on Sunday, October 1st. Over seven thousands participants will chose among five courses: the 46-km leisure route, the 75-km short route, the 115-km Chianti classico route, the 135-km medium route and the 209-km long route.
