Pasqualon Sprints to Win at Coppa Sabatini


Wanty-Groupe Gobert’s 29-year-old athlete claimed the success in the Italian race with Extreme RR shoes and Extreme Air socks preceding Colbrelli and Gavazzi

Northwave ended in style the Tuscany triptych, winning the 65th Coppa Sabatini, in Peccioli (Italy), with Wanty-Groupe Gobert’s Andrea Pasqualon, that follows his teammate Guillaume Martin’s success in Giro della Toscana – Memorial Alfredo Martini’s last stage.

On Thursday September 28th, the 29-year-old Italian athlete, equipped with Extreme RR shoes and Extreme Air socks, outsprinted the defending champion Sonny Colbrelli and Francesco Gavazzi, second and third on the finish line, respectively.

Pasqualon gave Wanty-Groupe Gobert the eleventh seasonal win: in the last kilometers the Belgian team led the chase at the escapees, Andrea Vendrame, Mekseb Debesay and Alessandro Tonelli, together with Bahrein-Merida and Team Sky’s athletes.
