Swiss Bike Cup starts in the name of Northwave at Tamaro Trophy

One-two for Ghost XC in the stage 1 of the Swiss XC circuit: Swiss Alessandra Keller won over Ramona Forchini. Mathias Flückiger runner-up in the men’s race

The Northwave athletes started in the best way the 2018 Swiss Bike Cup, the most important Mountain Bike Cross Country circuit in Switzerland. At Tamaro Trophy, Swiss Alessandra Keller (Thömus RN Racing Team) dominated the women’s race, soloing to the finishing line. Behind the winner, Ramona Forchini (Brunex Felt Factory Team) completed a one-two for Northwave 25 seconds later, while Julie Bresset completed the day’s podium.

U23 and Elite World Champions respectively, Sina Frei (Ghost Factory Team) and Jolanda Neff (Kross Racing Team), came in fourth and fifth, rounding out a great overall performance for Northwave. In addition, three more athletes supported by the Italian brand entered the top 10, Austria’s Elisabeth Osl (Brunex Felt Factory Team) and Lisa Pasteiner (Ghost Factory Team), seventh and ninth, and Swiss Kathrin Stirnemann (Thömus RN Racing Team), tenth.
