Siófok, Tuesday 14th of August – Swiss rider Patrick Schelling (Team Vorarlberg Santic) was the fastest today on the 3.5 kms prologue opening the 39th edition of Tour de Hongrie on the bank of beautiful Lake Balaton. The Swiss vice-national champion never was truly threatened by the rest of the peloton who had to fight against a heavy rain. French rider from Team Novo-Nordisk Charles Planet is second whereas Manuel Belletti (Androni Giocattoli-Sidermec) completes the podium, on the brink of a first stage destined for ‘punchers’.
