ABOUT
Beth Schneider started PelotonPost to share photos and travel adventures as well as the races, the fans, the action, ambiance, cultures, people, cuisines and locales.
All kinds of adventures are part of covering the sport. It’s great to be working and living in Europe every year, meeting new people and seeing old friends as well as improving language skills. It’s like summer camp with lots of great camaraderie.
Beth got her first camera at age 6. It was a Brownie Scouts box camera with the dancing elf and a flash bulb holder that plugged into the side. It’s interesting that she got her first two-wheel bike around the same time.
The two interests merged in 1982 when she stumbled on her first Coors Classic the very week she decided to make it or break it as a full time freelance as a photographer. She’s since shot 20+ years of the Tour de France, USA Pro Cycling Challenge, Tour de Trump, Tour Du Pont, Paris-Nice, Dauphine Libere, Giro d’Italia, World Cycling Championships in Colombia and elsewhere, as well as many other road, mountain biking and other sports.
Prior to Peloton Post her photos appeared in most of the major national cycling publications and in ads and catalogs of many of the sport’s major sponsors.
She’s so glad to be able to share her passion with others.
