Alejandro Valverde Belmonte (Murcia, 1980) retired as a professional cyclist in 2022 and has remained the same ever since: passionate about the sport that gave him everything and loyal to the team he rode for during 18 seasons (2005–2022).
Valverde, the face of Movistar Team
The Murcian cyclist will continue as an ambassador for the Movistar Team while also exploring other activities within the cycling world. Among his primary roles, he will continue to represent the team and participate in various Gravel races.
