Kelderman and Groenewegen lead the Dutch World Tour team at the Tour
Bianchi will ride on Tour de France’s roads from July 2nd to 24th with Team LottoNL-Jumbo. After Robert Gesink’s forfait due to a crash accurred at the Tour de Suisse, team leaders will be Wilco Kelderman and debutant Dylan Groenewegen. Both will aim for stage wins: back from strong performances at the Tour de Suisse, Kelderman will play his card in the mountain stages. New Dutch Road National champion Groenewegen will count on his sprinting skills to try to add over to his 7-win season.
Kelderman and Groenewegen aren’t the only options for the Bianchi sponsored team: Ster ZLM Toer’s winner Sep Vanmarcke and George Bennett will try to leave their mark as well. After an excellent Giro d’Italia, highlighted by Primoz Roglic victory and Steven Kruijswijk’s five days wearing the leader’s pink jersey, the Team LottoNL-Jumbo will try to be in the spotlight at Tour de France as well.
Team LottoNL-Jumbo’s line-up: George Bennett, Dylan Groenewegen, Wilco Kelderman, Bert-Jan Lindeman, Paul Martens, Timo Roosen, Sep Vanmarcke, Robert Wagner en Maarten Wynants.
