The Italian inventor of the “Cucina Pop” to ride Bianchi Infinito CV
Bianchi welcomes a new testimonial into its family signing one of the current world’s most influential chefs, founder and owner of the “D’O” Michelin-starred restaurant, located in San Pietro all’Olmo Cornaredo (Milano).
“Davide Oldani is just like Bianchi: he has a unique talent in giving an innovative twist to a traditon of excellence,” – Bianchi owner Salvatore Grimaldi stated. “We had an excellent feeling since our first meeting, and we are proud to have him within the Grimaldi and Bianchi families. Davide will be connected to our Bianchi brand in several events in the early future, including the opening of the new Bianchi Cafè&Cycles in Milan”.
Bike and haute cuisine, an unusual match – only at a first glance. “A careful and tasty alimentation, based on fresh, quality ingredients, is the basis of a healthy lifestyle, just like sports activity. And now, I have a new gorgeous Bianchi bike to nurture my cycling passion,” shared Oldani, who became famous all over the World with his “Cucina Pop”, delighting thousands of gourmets at his “D’O” restaurant.
“Sports have been part of my life all the way, and cycling is something I am really passionate about – the Chef explained – and generally, I am a fan of tradition that always look forward to the future and new inventions. Being part of the Bianchi family means a lot to me: it makes me a tiny part of an almost 130-year-long history that continues today through the Bianchi bikes, technology, design and lifestyle”.
Davide Oldani is an international chef and business man. His entrepreneurial spirit recently lead him to attend a class at the Harvard Business School as part of a “Operations Strategy” study case. As a truly cycling enthusiast, Oldani will ride the Infinito CV – the new invention from Bianchi featuring the Countervail vibration cancelling technology (proven in NASA aerospace applications): the ideal bike for long distances to ride with less fatigue and more control.
Davide Oldani will be in the action with his Infinito CV at the Granfondo Bianchi – Gimondi on May 4th, in Bergamo.
