Carlos Sastre retiring

At age 36 and after a 15 year cycling career, Carlos Sastre of Spain is retiring from the sport.  He won the Tour de France in 2008 as well as finishing 10 times in the top 10 of the Tour.  He said a new stage is opening in his life and he doesn’t yet know what it will be.
