2010 Tour – Stage 19

Bordeaux-Pauillac Time Trial Fabian Cancellara posted the best time of 1h00’56″99.  Tony Martin and Bert Grabsch finished second and third behind him. The story was whether Schleck would be able to overcome his 8 second disadvantage going into the stage.  He finished 23rd.

Alejandro Valverde has been suspended for two years for his involvement in Operation Puerto and his infamous blood bag #18.  All his victories for 2010 have been annulled but previous wins are intact. He’d already been suspended from racing in Italy from May 2009-2011.
