Belgian cyclist Franck Vandenbrouke was found dead in his hotel in Senegal. He had a long history of drug abuse. The report is that he had a pulmonary embolism. An inquest is planned.

Thomas Dekker has been suspended from his team after the second positive doping control. Thor Hushovd is planning on winning the green jersey at the 2010 Tour de France. Lance Armstrong hasn’t decided yet if he’ll race the Tour of California or the Giro d’Italia next spring.
