Chaves Wins GP Camaiore in Tuscany

Colombia Coldeportes’ Johan Esteban Chaves took the lion’s share at GP Camaiore in Tuscany, Italy, clinching victory on the saddle of Bianchi Sempre on Saturday, August 11th.  After 199km the 22-year-old rider out-sprinted Sergei Chernetckii and Italian champion Franco Pellizotti on a Bianchi Oltre bike.

Chaves was the quickest among five riders who took advantage 10 km before the finish line on the Monte Pitoro climb. Six days ago the promising Colombian clinched his first victory as a professional in the Vuelta a Burgos’ ultimate stage.

Four Bianchi bikes entered Top-10 thanks to Androni’s Emanuele Sella (fifth) and Miguel Angel Rubiano Chavez (ninth), both on Oltre.
