Clement and Gesink on Dutch ITT National Champs Podium

Team LottoNL-Jumbo’s riders finished second and third respectively behind Dumoulin. The Dutch Team placed six athletes within the Top-10

Two podium spots, four riders in the Top-5 and six in the Top-10: Team LottoNL-Jumbo’s riders delivered a strong performance in the Dutch ITT National Championships, won by Tom Dumoulin on a 50-km course with start and finish in Montferland (Netherlands) on Wednesday, June 21st.

Equipped with Aquila CV, Stef Clement took the silver medal clocking 59:31, 24 seconds slower than the Giro d’Italia’s winner Dumoulin. Clement’s teammate Robert Gesink finished third, 58 seconds behind Dumoulin. Separated by only one second, Jos Van Emden (winner of Giro’s final ITT in Milan’s Piazza Duomo) and Koen Bouwman rounded-out the Top 5. Daan Oliver was eighth (+3:05), Steven Lammertink ninth (+3:10).
