Second seasonal win for the Frenchman Coquard. Chicchi grazes success in Azerbaijan
Team Europcar’s Bryan Coquard claimed a strong success in 4 Jours de Dunkerque’s stage 1 (Dunkerque – Orchies 178,7 Km), conquering the French stage race overall leader’s jersey.
Wednesday May 6th, the French youngster, equipped with Northwave Extreme Tech Plus shoes, preceded Belgian Edward Theuns (Top Sport Vlaanderen) in a spectacular head-to-head; Lithuanian Ignatas Konovalovas (Team Marseille) completed the day’s podium.
In Tour d’Azerbaijan opening stage (Baku – Sumqayit 153,5 Km), Androni-Sidermec’s Francesco Chicchi, grazed success claiming the second place in the massive sprint won by Slovenian Marko Kump (Adria Mobil).
Monday May 4th, the Vuelta Mexico, stage race won by Colombian Francisco Colorado, ended with Northwave’s Mattia Gavazzi (Amore e Vita) win in the last stage.
