Dale Stetina in Critical Condition

Dale Stetina, who won the Coors Classic twicew, including in 1983, is in the hospital in critical condition.  He was hit by a car in Lefthard Canyon yesterday while riding his bike.  He’s the father of Peter Stetina of the Garmin Pro team.

A car pulled in front of him while he was descending. He crashed into the pavement and was airlifted to the hospital in Boulder, CO.

He won over 200 races when he competed from 1965-1983.
