Duvine Adventures will be offering two tours that follow mountain stages in the 2011Tour de France. They will also be offering a tour that features the Giro d’Italia.
The Giro d’Italia tour will run from May 8-13. They’ll be featuring many challenging climbs and several days of race viewing. Click here for a detailed Itinerary.
In France there will be one tour in the Pyrenees and a second in the Alps:
The Pyrenees tour will run from July 13-18 starting from Lourdes. With extensive climbing, this challenging tour will allow guests to experience the legendary roads of the Tour de France and view several stages of the 2011 race. The Tourmalet and the Plateau de Beille are among the featured rides.
The final offering will include riding in the Alps and a transfer to Paris to watch the final day of sprinting on the Champs Elysees. With stays in Sestriere and Briancon, guests will have the opportunity to ride Alpe d’Huez, the Col d’Izouard and the Galabier. They’ve also planned for a few chances to watch the pro-tour riders as they attack the alps before heading to Paris for the grand finale.
In true DuVine style, they will follow their motto: bike.eat.drink.sleep. As with all their tours, guests will enjoy great biking, phenomenal food and regional wines while staying in the best luxury hotels. For general information about DuVine Adventrues tours, check out their website.
