Points of interest
Ogrodzieniec Castle
The history of Ogrodzieniec dates back to the 14th century. According to local folklore[9], the Castle which today is a medieval ruin open to visitors, is haunted by the “Black Dog of Ogrodzieniec”, seen prowling the ruins at night, pulling a heavy chain. The dog is to be the soul of the Castellan of Kraków, Stanislaw Warszycki, whose soul also supposedly haunts the ruins of the Danków Castle, where it appears as a headless horseman. Exploring also provides lots of attractions. For example, the Podzamcze Village is famous for its groundbreaking knight shows, held every Sunday in the spring – autumn season.

Spodek Arena, Katowice
Spodek is a multipurpose arena complex opened in 1971. Aside from the main dome, the complex includes a gym, an ice rink, a hotel and three large car parks. The Spodek hosts many important cultural and musical events and its Polish name refers to a flying saucer since its iconic shape resembles a UFO. It was the largest indoor venue of its kind in Poland until it was surpassed by Kraków Arena in 2014.
