Wiggle High5’s Australian won her very first race with the new Northwave Extreme RR shoes on her home soil

The new Northwave-Wiggle High5 partnerships could not have started better, as the British team managed by Rochelle Gilmore managed to secure its first win on the seasonal debut, in Santos Women’s Tour’s stage 1 (Gumeracha – Gumeracha, 115,7 Km), in Australia, on Thursday January 11th.
Annette Edmondson emerged on top in a bunch sprint. Behind the winner, the two time World Champion Giorgia Bronzini was runner-up, while Lauretta Hanson completed the day’s podium.
Edmondson conquered the overall leadership with 6 seconds of advantage on Bronzini and 8 seconds on Hanson, in view of the stage 2 (Lyndoch – Mengler’s Hill, 102 Km), taking place tomorrow, Friday January 12th.
