According to an article in the New York Daily News, Floyd Landis wore a concealed recorder and video camera when he met last spring with Rock Racing owner Michael Ball. Landis collected the recordings for Jeff Novitzky of the Food and Drug Administration. The recordings enabled Novitzky to get a search warrant for Ball’s apartment. Landis and others on the Rock Racing team were former teammates of Lance Armstrong.
