Today’s stage finished even later than the latest time estimated by race organizers.
Robbie Hunter crashed and brought down other riders including Cavendish and Eisel. There was a long descent with lots of turns including a hard left turn near the bottom and the race was going too fast. Kittel is still battling a stomach virus but it all worked out well for Greipel who thinks he has the best team. This was his 14th win of the season.
