Team LottoNL-Jumbo’s Dutchman claimed another success.
Third time’s a charm for Team LottoNL-Jumbo’s Dylan Groenewegen: the Dutchman outsprinted all his rivals topping Volta ao Algarve on stage-4, 199,2 km from Almodovar to Tavira (Portugal), on Saturday, February 17th. Groenewegen scored another success ahead of Italian Matteo Pelucchi and German John Degenkolb.
The great focus put by LottoNL Jumbo on sprint mechanisms, as well as the aero advantage provided by Oltre XR4 have turned Groenewegen into a sprint dominator in this early season: the Dutchman had previously claimed the opening stages both at Dubai Tour and Volta ao Algarve. Groenewegen also regained the Points classification’s jersey in the process.
