IOC Stripping Hamilton’s Gold Medal

The 8-year statute of limitations is fast approaching.  The IOC is meeting today to strip Tyler Hamilton of his 2004 Olympic gold medal after he admitted having doped.  They will adjust the standings of the road race to award the gold medal to Viatcheslav Ekimov.  Bobby Julich will now receive the silver medal and Michael Rogers will get the bronze.
